1. Discussion group; "Tyranny of Structurelessness"- put off until next week as no-one has read it. J to prepare next topic.

2. Benefit Gig: Friday 7th april. w+j taking care of this, agreed that some money would go to Grassroots Dissent.

3.Film showing: need to get contact with S2S? Riot porn (crowd bites wolf) proposed as next film. w,d and a to organise film showing.

4. Basta stencil day:saturday 8th april at city arts stencil theme-'need for social spaces'.
idea to put up quote (can someone fill in the quote plz cos i can remember it at all), o proposed to write it.

5.Outreach:leaflets needed. j to make up more of original anarchist youth flier. proposed to do stall next saturday but not going ahead. w proposes to do leaflet on merits of street/wall art etc for saturday stencil day.contacts of people interested in ay to be taken at gig on friday

6.Stickers:400 a6 blank stickers.people needed to do skill share day on photoshop ,10th of april.

7.Magazine/publications:funds from gig to go to publication by ay.idea put off until the summer when there is more time/people. people to think about/write articles in the meantime.

8.Sams national speaking tour: organise invited ay to come up and give a small talk at queens uni, sam has offered himself to go before the end of their term. w to talk to wsm about ay joining them on their speaking tour.

9.AAA: report back from ay presence at the anti-authoritarian assembly. ay to organise the next aaa j to check out doing it in the lower deck during the day on a sunday or possibly do it on the 30th of april to coincide with the anarchist picknick, do radical tour of dublin followed by the aaa in the park(phoenix or merrion) o to propose this to grassroots dissent email list to see what feedback we get, w to add him to that list.

11.Baldonel: state fascist display in city center on the 16th, all activists called to go out to baldonell warport for protest. critical mass,busses, luas and cars leaving from city center that morning. indymedia for details. ay to pose as 'weapons inspectors' with white overalls. w to enquire about the overalls.

12.Anarcho-feminist education day: all ay girls to get together and come up with plan for a feminist education day. role of women in revolution/society etc.

We felt that there was no need for the whole collective to beinvolved in organising gigs so we decided that a small group shoulddo this instead. J and W will do it this time.
There is the possibility of getting "Army of Flying Robots" to play but they will require a fee.
Percent of Money will be donated to ?

2: Anti War

We decided to go ahead with the idea of a Red and Black bloc at theMarch 18th
We agreed to produce W's leaflet.
Arising out a suggestion made at the AAA we agreed to hold aworkshop at the Anarchist Bookfair to plan for the Red and Blackbloc.
We decided to do leafleting and postering closer to the march.

3: Bookfair
We will hold another banner making day at the Anarchist Bookfair. A working group of Ma, A, S, Mi, and ? will organise this.
They aremeeting at 2pm on Sat 25th in the WSM offices.

4: Near FM

AY will be interviewed on Near FM on the 25th. Mi and A agreed tospeak.

5: Propaganda

- We agreed to produce AY stickers once we have the finances.

We were given a report back from the blockade of Shell HQ.
The protest went very well and AY were there in force.

DUBLIN ANARCHIST BOOKFAIR 2006!

Friday 3rd March from 8 till late
Premier of “November/December 84” a film made in 1984 on the Miners Strike, never broadcast before. Followed by rebel folk music.

Saturday from 12 to 6
Books, ideas, revolution in the air, radical films all day, meetings on Social Centre's, Radical Republicanism, and Workplace Organising.
There will also be a host of stalls, workshops, and various people from different anarchist and activist groups will be in attendance.

Come along, meet people, be exposed to some 'dangerous ideas', eat some tasty food, buy the t-shirt and it could just change you life!

Anarchist Youth will be making banners and stencils in seomra spraoi on abbey street from 2pm-6pm on saturday 28th.

The space is open to anyone who wants to drop in for a cup of tea/coffee between 2pm-6pm and check out one of the 900 zines or read a radical book from the library. If the whim takes us we can watch some films or have a discussion as well.

Seomra Spraoi is opposite Arnotts on Middle Abbey st. (it's the crazy looking building).

We have lots of materials but if you want to bring

- Banner/Flag material (red, black or whatever)
- Stencils or card/acetate
- Designs for stencils
- Scapel/stanley knife
- Paint (all kinds)
- Films

WSM article about Anarchist Youth.

Late last year some younger anarchists in Dublin and Wicklow got together and formed their own organisation. Workers Solidarity asked them why?

How did this group come about?
The group came about after a number of teenagers decided that a sort of anarchist youth group was needed in Ireland. We talked amongst our friends and posted on a number of anarchist listing and youth centred music forums. Many young people want to learn about anarchism and get involved but feel shy to walk into a WSM or Grassroots Dissent meeting. Hopefully this group can welcome the inexperienced or curious anarchist teenager. Over fifteen people attended our first meeting, talks were given by 3 experienced anarchists on a number of issues and we watched a number of radical films.

What sort of activities do you see the collective becoming involved in?
The collective hopes to provide information on anarchism to Irish youth by organising in our schools and communities. This will hopefully bridge the perceived gap between older anarchists and new comers who can sometimes be intimidated. The collective will work towards providing more creative, inclusive and militant forms of resistance as well as supporting others in their struggles. We hope to organise benefit gigs and get a freesheet out in the future. We will also be working with other groups in planning protests, walkouts and direct action.

What do you feel anarchism has to offer young people today?
A way out, a community, a political idea which is not boring and outdated, a political idea which is about getting up and doing something about the racist and capitalist society in which we're stuck in. Anarchism has and will always be associated with angry, frustrated youth, tired of getting beaten around by the cops, sick of the world of consumerism and war and just fed up! It's time the youth of Ireland stand up, get organised and fight back!

Anarchist youth meeting - Revolt Video room sunday 15th January.

L called urban junction, M said he lived next door and would ask about potential for putting on a gig there. J asked about lower deck but they're not up for it, W was in touchwith someone about using Bohs bar in dalymount - February mid-termbreak was suggested but not sat 11th (basta gig that day). People can post ideas of bands to the list.

*Blog/website/mobile phone
Suggested we post minutes on the blog - without names. People can submit anarchist/youth news to email list to be put on the blog. M to be made a mod on the list so he can add/approve members aswell as S. S offered a mobile fone to the group which hopefully will be looked after on a rota system, number to be put on fliers etc. for ppl tocontact us.

*Newsletter
S suggested we start an a4 freesheet about our group, group members can submit articles/news to the list. Check out WSM paper for mentionof AY this month.

*AFA benefit
S and Mn volenteered to write a small anarchist youth flierwiht contact details that we could hand out at the afa disco topromote the group.

*Anti war
W suggested that we could produce a flier on the topic of cia/shannon which we would distribute in our neighbourhoods.

*Future meetings/film showing
Agreed that we would meet once per month with a film/meeting showingon the 3rd week of each month. W suggested we show horror movies.

*AOB
M suggested we target schools to educate people about anarchism. Suggested pamphlets were
